Wow! A virtual kick in the butt from me to you! lol The best thing I've learned in this life is that I'm the only person who can make me happy! I don't need a man to do that for me! Last month I had my little brother die and my wife leave me, then this last weekend my stepfather died of a heart attack. It tore me down quite a ways. It should. I, much like you, don't express how I feel to my family, and I hardly ever visit or call, but I just assume they get how I feel about them. If they don't by now, they'll never get me. Through all of this, I just did the things that bring me joy in life, namely staying home playing video games and generally just loafing about. It's not exciting, but I don't want exciting. I did what I wanted and now I'm starting to feel better.
In closing, don't follow anyone's advice, but listen anyways and then run it through your own internal filter and take what you want from it. Try your best to have fun, and I wish you luck.
