Not necessarily one should answer all questions viewed. Sometimes some one else had already answered which might seem copycat or some times I do not find that I am able to answer that perfectly nad sometimes I can not dig out the right answer from various search engines and websites.

I answer the ones I can. Like your question posted here I had to view it in order to get beyond the mysterious teaser "why".

If you view it, and you don't know the answer, go onto the next one! If someone has given the same answer as you were going to give, go on to the next one! You don't have to answer any question you don't want to! No one will even know you viewed it!

Look at it this way. You don't buy everything you look at in a store. You just browse, sometimes, right? Well, you can do that here, too. You don't have to commit to any question that you don't want to. But, your responses are valuable to us!!

I know that some feels the opposite. Some just view questions because they don't know the answer to a given question or they may see a correct answer has already been answer. Yes that may be the case but what counts truthly is one's "answer rating" not how much $ you can earn here.

Since I have been on this site, I noticed questions without a dollar figure get less answers while the other reward questions receives more. Example, I posted a question with a $ figure and receive more answers while another asker posted the same question without $ had a very low response. Now, what does tell me only REWARD questions receives the majority of answers.

For the most part there are a lot of right and wrong answer questions gets overlooked. Personally, I answer questions that I may not be familair with but I do research. If I don't find the answer, I leave a note to the asker that I was unble find the answer. By doing this, it let the asker knows his/her question wasn't overlooked. Don't get me wrong, I do expect everyone to go the extra mile for that particualr person.

Askpedia is a fair new site, we need to try to keep people on this site rather leaving because no one took that extra mile.

It is just me, I look at this site as my #2 Family. By the way, I do work between other question-answer sites and find that Askpedia has flexibility without picky violations or Trolls watching your questions or answers. On other sites, I have answered over 4,000 questions with 400 best answers.
