I'm super freaky about reading books! How important is reading in the high school arena?

To give a more direct answer. In terms of high school reading, the reading during english class is more more covered then grammer. Plus reading is involved in every class (except P.E. and possibly weight lifting). Overall you're going to read alot, but in terms of the books during an english class, you can count on alot of people using spark notes to get by.

Reading anywhere is important and intresting. I used to read paper books earlier and now I am more in e-books as I carry my lappy anywhere I want.

That all depends on whether you already know EVERYTHING or are willing to read and learn SOMETHING. Reading now, will have a direct effect on how much you earn later. You can refuse to read and end up pushing a broom or scrubbing toilets for a living. :-)
