Does anyone else think it is important that when people ask a legal question they specify which country they are from? Or should we clarify the situation for all 192 states of the United Nations?

answering a legal question vaguely should be left to the lawyers in court...on here, let's use some professionalism and ask for a specific country to answer it correctly

Laws are unigue to every province, state, country, territory or planet! I think people with legal questions should always say where they live! Having sex in a linen closet at a hospital is not legal everywhere (if you get caught)! So we should be made aware of the location of the pervert!

The laws are not the same everywhere. I think it's important to specify where you live, when asking a legal question.

The answer is YES-diffent countries have different laws! Whats legal in one country, might be illegal in another country eg smoking marinjura etc.The legal system in countries also vary eg.common law or codified offences and the system of deciding guilt also varies eg.the Jury System or the Bench system-if you require a clear answer, you have to be specific or be satisfied with a vague answer to a vague question

For the most part askers should indicate their state if they're asking legal question that isn't uniform. Like custody suites, divorces, civil suits, traffic tickets, etc. These types of questions various by state by state.

Some askers wish not to indicate this information and that's their choice. Then why the hell they want our opinion?

Only a few months ago you couldn't have an other location. A few people complained and it was changed. There are lots of questions where the asker would get better answers if they gave the location. I miss having it.
The solution is to stop hiding it with the length of time and request a location be given. If the asker deliberately had to make the decision to choose other, then they have to put up with an inferior answer.
This is also true of each state and sometimes each circuit court in the US...
