God knows we are tempted. He knows we are prone to sin. He tells us through His word, that He is the way of escape. He is our best defense. If someone is gay, and they choose not to be, God is able to deliver them. If they do not ask to be delivered, then they are making a conscious choice to sin and will have to pay the ultimate price. The Bible does promise that homosexuals are destined for hell.

I have family members who are gay, both male and female, and I don't love them any less, nor do I judge them! They are good people, and that's all that matters!

Interestingly, if this is hereditary, shouldn't straights produce straights only and there is no gay at all in the world when the world starts turning from the beginning of time... assuming that straights were born first.
