Unfortunately there are those in our society whom think that it is easier to take than to earn. Society moves at such a break neck speed nowadays that some people cannot keep up to their needs. Unfortunately a big need for this crowd in the break and enter or home invasion field is drugs. A lot of criminals live by the motto that one or two big scores and they will be set for life. I have also heard it said "what the hell, that's what insurance is for.' The majority of these criminals are teenagers and as most adolecents do, they fail to recognize the consequences and realise that little scores never add up to anything. For most of us it's better to give than recieve, to some it's easier take than to work for. Fortunately I live in an area that is somewhat unaffected by the majority of this type of crime. I still leave the house unlocked when I go out shopping or to visit family/friends. I do have a very large and very loyal watch guard though. Basically the only time my house is locked is if I am away for an extended time period. And thats the way it should be.

As the communities grow bigger, a lot many changes come in. Just like the time you didn't have Unemployment Insurance but it was implied after Canada faced the Great Depression. Also, taxes weren't there...free living!!!!...Until they set up a temporary tax system for the war and then they just kept the money flowing after that...That is from our riverbank to their bank :O...

Say you live in a town with 10 people, now you probably know when someone took your thing as to a society with 10 million people...

But I'm not saying it always has a negative impact, theres many positive sides to this as well!
