how and what quailifications do i need to become a teacher

i've always wanted to become a drama and maths secondary school teacher, i just would like to konw what courses i will need to do and how long it could take. also i'm 21 will i get any help of the goverment to fund this, and will i get help with childcare for my son whilst i learn? i have got 9 gcse's above grade c.

You will need GCSEs (or Standard equivalents) at grade C or above in English language and mathematics.
