It all depends on who they are. Lot of kisses for the girls and toddlers. ( A girl is any woman under the age of 100. lol) Hugs for everyone. And sometimes a good firm handshake says more than anything. Not to mention a big smile. I am big on smiles as you might imagine. A cheery greeting helps set the tone. It all adds up and the more you give, the more you get.

Hugs. Hugs actually meets heart to heart and gives more soothing effect and releif to meet someone who is close to you like wife/husband, gf/bf, son/daughter, brother/sister, mom/dad, and freinds and so on.

hugs, its an appropiate way of welcoming someone, saying hi, saying goodbye, its a universal action for closeness to express to someone where as kissing is more personal i think.

I hug everyone I know everytime I see them, but I save my kisses for my family and closest friends! If I had chicken pox, I'd hug and kiss my enemies!

I don't give out a lot of either, I'm more of a sweet nothinger. I like to say nice things and use terms of endearment with those I love. My daughter and step-children are teenagers, so we know I'm not ALLOWED to kiss or hug them anymore :( My husband is not into kissing or hugging. He believes there's a time and a place (yes, really proper and modest) He uses the sweet talk, though, as long as know one is listening! ;)
