Play games or cards,hobbies,learn an instrument painting reading aloud to others .Do outdoor stuff picnic hiking camping etc...
Use every opportunite to teach your children .Be available when a family member needs time to talk.Protect your family from destructive influences.Select your friends and watch your kids friends.Let your kids know what is proper so they do not fall prey of sexual molestation.
It is vital to discipline the children .Sometimes with words , time out or take things that they like away.
Well there is a lot to say on this matter but here are some things i know to be true from my own experience.

Couple must go together to clubs and parties and one must avoid to go such parties all alone as this might lead to human brain psychology to get attracted to opposite sex who is not your wife or husband and who are more than humble at the moment and this makes you compare your present relationship with your partner and you tend to break up and wish to develop a new and fresh and vibrant relationship with this new person in the party.

3. Always use the words like "I love you" to keep warmth in relationship and "sorry" for mistakes to each toher and this keeps the tensions far away between relationships.

4. Always discuss about the future of the kids so that you both feel obligated to make your kids future brighter and keep you both in stronger bond and relationship.

5. Lastly, do not forget to exchange gifts specially in front of outsiders even if it is cheap by price as this keeps the partner feel proud that your partner takes care of you.

Easy....follow God's word for the Family, how to love and respect your wife, husband. Children obey your parents etc.
Not to many people follow this rule, and that is probably why family's are all upside down.

All We Need is Understanding. If all the Family members can have a mutual understanding between them, where we all can share our problems and understand each other's shortcomings. That will make the bonds stronger and provide a force to stick together. Not to mention this will make the relationship strong and long lasting.

Conservative values help. Praying together helps. Actually taking time for each other, and not living a life that's too fast-paced, helps.
