Vob is the one that plays the easiest. Some Dvd Players will play Mpeg4 or DivX, but not all. Some will even play AVI. Vob is the best choice.

Depends on the DVD player.
Mine will show Avis and VCD and SVCD, but not MPG or MOV obviously.
