If I won the lottery, I would give $5,000.00 to each of my chosen charities. And then I would give college funds and trust funds to people in my family. Then I would buy my parents a house.

I would give away half of it to my grandmother. Throughout my childhood she raised me up while my parents were working. We would walk through out the Main Street in my town and every time she would let me pick numbers in the lottery ticket. We never won but it was always her dream.

I would give 28% to those who taught me about God. By that I mean the church. Thus I would fulfill all the old testaments rules about tithing. Then I would give another big portion to Associated Charities in my town because they help a huge number of people and have a very limited budget. And giving to charity is not the same as giving to God. You are entitled to say that I have funny rules.

If I won a million dollars, I would first of all feel financially free to adopt another child. By doing this, I would better her world immensely, both monetarily and otherwise. I certainly would keep enough to live comfortably but not extravagantly. I have no need for an extravagant lifestyle. I would support an orphanage in Guatemala in order to "give back" to the country from where we adopted my daughter. She is the light of my life, and I would love to see other children thrive as well.

If i won a loterry i would donate around 25% to some charitable institute which would help feeding the poor or educating poor children...
another 15 % would go to my parents and family and 30% savings and the rest 30% i would just spend away so as to make sure the money stays in flow..the more you give to the right sources the more you recieve

i.e. if I won $1M, first to my church for thanking God for His blessings - 100K. Then set up trust funds for 2 great-nieces & 1 great-nephew - 50K each. 75K for breast cancer research, 50K each to 4 siblings, 25K to our local food kitchen to feed the poor & the balance for my husband & I to see the world.
