At my local river that i fish at, all the fish i catch is small. Even the carp and bass. I was told to go down below the dam becouse there is more fish. I went down there and there was more fish but all still small. What might be the problim that this small river has and what could i do or use to catch more bigger fish?

If you have the right gear and bait, try another river or perhaps the ocean.

Try fishing witjh a larger bait,ie for carp use boilies and larger baits, try fishing for Pike instead of Bass,we dont have any Bass over here but we have a large amount of fisherman who fish solely just for carp and several waters which have been stocked with all sorts of carp, from f1 upto big mirrors and common, also grass carp and even the Catfish too.I hope that helped a bit, alternately have a fishing holiday in the U.k.
