My daughter 3 1/2 years old, started breaking out in hives a couple weeks ago. There hasn't been any change in soaps or anything. At the sitters there has been a stomach bug going around which caught up w/her this past Friday. Is it possible for a virus to surface in the form of hives???? We have moved and changed daycares the beginning of Feb. Actually her whole world changed....could nerves or anxiety cause hives????

depends what you actually mean by hives , a blothy rash may appear in the presence of a viral infection which you have mentioned is going around your area , in the case of hives an allergic reaction to something would be the most common cause , in any case if you are worried about the health of your daughter or she experiences any other symptoms i would advise you seek medical advice , this way you will have peace of mind get diagnosed and be able to rule out anything more serious ,...
