i have a playstaion 2 slim and i want to know if i can connect the ethernet cable and then the online instalation disc and start playing all of the games that i have for online for free.

No, I wish it was! It's the same as the PSP3. To play others online you will need the gold membership. It's $50.00 a year, but if you play a lot its worth it.

yes it is free you just need to buy the net work think if you have a big ps2 also ps3 online is free
