It depends on the type of exercise you do.
Fitness swimming is a good example. Swimming is a notoriously poor method of exercise for inducing weight loss. Swimming sessions do not result in the same degree of weight loss that other exercise sessions of comparable caloric expenditure do; they also don't affect the appetite the same way. Often, after a hard swim workout in the morning, you'll still be hungry for a big breakfast, but after a morning run you'll be less likely to feel hungry ...

Moderate exercise by itself does not increase your appetite unless you have exercised too hard or are on a quick weight loss diet and your glycogen stores are depleted. Glycogen is the stored form of glucose in your muscles and liver. You only have about 1500 to 1800 calories of stored glycogen. When glycogen is depleted, your body has to turn to protein in muscles and organs to supply glucose. Depending on the time of your last meal before exercising, your blood sugar may be low. In which case, your body is telling you...

I get that all the time after a hard work out or big race.
I know I feel sick after and don't want to eat food or just not hungry. But you have to eat something after a big work out 10-30minute right after you've finished. I depends on the kind of workout, If you do for example, 30minute of walking, with little hill, you shouldn't be hungry after or just eat sometime very small like a couple prezles or crackers. But say if you did a 30-60 minute run from 6-8miles an hour, then you should eat something l...

My thought
I used to have that problem. I'd exercise and then eat twice as much as I normally ate. But then I came up with a solution. If you eat a substantial meal 30 mins before exercise then you don't feel hungry at all. For me its come to the point where I only need to eat a banana beforehand and I don't feel hungry at all after a workout. It is definitely possible to train your body not to feel hungry after exercise, just like its possible to train yo...

Because your body is producing chemicals in your brain that not only make you feel good but less hungry too, endorphins I believe they're called. Believe it or not exercise is the best appetite suppressant (spelling?) out there and its free, no side effects unless you injure yourself working out, and man do you feel good. So after you exercise try having a protien water, good for replenishing and its not heavy, eat later a few hours after you workout....

Body temperature and exercise intensity are possible factors.

In the case of swimming, body temperature may drop after prolonged exposure to cold water. This can stimulate hunger for a period of time after exercise. But running and forms of exercise that elevate body temperature tend to suppress the appetite after exercise.
