It depends on the type of exercise you do.
Fitness swimming is a good example. Swimming is a notoriously poor method of exercise for inducing weight loss. Swimming sessions do not result in the same degree of weight loss that other exercise sessions of comparable caloric expenditure do; they also don't affect the appetite the same way. Often, after a hard swim workout in the morning, you'll still be hungry for a big breakfast, but after a morning run you'll be less likely to feel hungry ...

I get that all the time after a hard work out or big race.
I know I feel sick after and don't want to eat food or just not hungry. But you have to eat something after a big work out 10-30minute right after you've finished. I depends on the kind of workout, If you do for example, 30minute of walking, with little hill, you shouldn't be hungry after or just eat sometime very small like a couple prezles or crackers. But say if you did a 30-60 minute run from 6-8miles an hour, then you should eat something l...

My thought
I used to have that problem. I'd exercise and then eat twice as much as I normally ate. But then I came up with a solution. If you eat a substantial meal 30 mins before exercise then you don't feel hungry at all. For me its come to the point where I only need to eat a banana beforehand and I don't feel hungry at all after a workout. It is definitely possible to train your body not to feel hungry after exercise, just like its possible to train yo...

Because your body is producing chemicals in your brain that not only make you feel good but less hungry too, endorphins I believe they're called. Believe it or not exercise is the best appetite suppressant (spelling?) out there and its free, no side effects unless you injure yourself working out, and man do you feel good. So after you exercise try having a protien water, good for replenishing and its not heavy, eat later a few hours after you workout....

Body temperature and exercise intensity are possible factors.
In the case of swimming, body temperature may drop after prolonged exposure to cold water. This can stimulate hunger for a period of time after exercise. But running and forms of exercise that elevate body temperature tend to suppress the appetite after exercise.

when you exersise your moving your body profusely and your stomach is expanding and shrinking, also your stomach feels that it's strong. but when your hungry your stomach feels weak, so you eat food to make it feel strong again. but exersising cancels out your stomach feeling weak so you dont FEEL hungry. ( just a word of advice, you should still eat 3 meals a day just so you won't become melnourished).

When you are occupied with something seriously you don't feel hungry at all.to the reverse when you don't have anyhting to do, sometimes you feel hungry before the usual time. Our body system is controlled by the brain and the nervous system. The hormones and the nervous system make us feel hungry There may be some physical or psychological reasons for not feeling hungry which can be treated by a physician or a psychiatrist.

Many people believe that engaging in exercise leaves you feeling hungry. Some take it further claiming that you end up eating more - thus negating any calorie deficit from the exercise.

HUnger is a body response from body energy lacking.
When we exercise, we are converting, burning, moving, fats,(stored energy) in our body to energy. We need this energy in daily activities. When we have the enough process, and acquiring enough energy from exercise, our body wont response by feeling hunger. This is why we dont feel hungry right after every exercise....

Most people will say the same thing here but you should eat....
The post workout meal (the meal you eat after a workout) is probably the most important meal of the day for anyone who is into nutrition and fitness. However, in a lot of cases this importance also leads to confusion. Maybe it's because of the many ready-made shakes available. Maybe it's the trouble with fitting it in with the rest of your diet. Maybe it's just generally ...
