i need to know if it is safe to take diabetic tussin dm maximum strength if i am taking effexor - it says on the box not to take if i am taking an maoi - is effexor one of them

Effexor is an SNRI, not an MAOI.But still contact a pharmacist to avoid any kind of reaction of mixing the two drugs.
