BE CAREFUL, in fact disconnect the negative battery terminal from the battery to ensure you won't zap anything when you tighten up the connection at the starter. once that connection is snug again, re-connect the negative terminal. this most likely will fix the zapping sound.

the starter and solanoid are one pice i think u might have a loose contact on the starter that wood make a lout sparking noise in start the ingnition wood make many soft sparking noises on start u probley wood not hear the ing. over the starter sounds loose battery termels and dirty ones can do that too the starter right in the front there all so make shore there is no chafong on the wires

i think u might have a short somewhere in the electrical system
