honda civic DX 2004

After turning the ignition key to start the car i hear sparking sound before the engine starts.What it could be ? Please let me know ? And how it can be fixed.

Firstly, check your battery terminals, see if they are loose at all, and perhaps clean and retighten them. Check the condition of the cables, both good? Next ensure the ground side cable is secured to the engine/ body for proper ground. And now the most important, this is where i'm betting you'll find the problem. Check where the positive wire connects to the starter solenoid, it's most likely that this connection has come a bit loose. Take it to a mechanic. That kind of problem shouldn't be fixed by oneself.

the starter and solanoid are one pice i think u might have a loose contact on the starter that wood make a lout sparking noise in start the ingnition wood make many soft sparking noises on start u probley wood not hear the ing. over the starter sounds loose battery termels and dirty ones can do that too the starter right in the front there all so make shore there is no chafong on the wires
