If it takes a hen and a half a day and a half to lay an egg and a half... How long then would it take a Carpenter to chew his hammer ???
Would it depend on whether or not he was a proffessional or an hammerchewer?

I've chewed a few hammers in my day, and I'm no professional! The handle was easy because I'm a beaver (from Canada), and that took ten minutes. The head didn't go down easy! I swallowed it whole and took out my own tonsils with the claw! That took about a half hour, and 10 stitches!

My chooks lay every day and someone STOLE my hammer off the back porch! not happy jan as it was a good one.I think if a carpenter had time to chew his hammer, like a child chewing a pencil, then it would take about 100 eggs. For more info go to
