"You're Fired" - Ever heard these words at a job? :-)

The weasel words were used..... "Sorry, as part of a reduction in force, your job has been eliminated..." Why were you let go?...

I was let go because my services were no longer required! Isn't that a humdinger! I'd rather if they had done a "Donald Trump"! YOU'RE FIRED!!!

I have never heard those words. Before they can be uttered, I say,"You can take this job and shove it where the sun doesn't shine." (or something a little nicer)
When I saw those words coming probably after four decades of service and just before retirement, I thought that it is better to be the one saying those words than receiving them. I can tell you that it is no fun saying them, but it is a lot better than hearing them....

Yes I was fired because iI got injured on the job and Kansas is not a right to work state, so you are just pushed into the gutter and discarded. The worker should have some rights to reasonable care and not fired to reduce the companys work comp costs. JR from Kansas

no i have been lucky, and now i am my own boss so i am glad as i can not fire myself. i really do feel so very sorry for all of you out there who have heard those words my heart goes out to you, IT'S NOT FAIR....
