The idea that people can really be divided into distinct races is questionable to begin with. An article in Newsweek reported: “To scientists who have looked into the question, race is a notoriously slippery concept that eludes any serious attempt at definition.” True, there may be “observable differences in skin color, hair texture and the shape of one’s eyes or nose.” However, Newsweek said that “these differences are at best superficial—and try as they will, scientists have been broadly unable to come up with any significant set of differences that distinguishes one racial group from another. . . . The bottom line, to most scientists working in these fields, is that race is a mere ‘social construct’—a [corrupt] mixture of prejudice, superstition and myth.”
Even if scientific distinctions between races could be made, the idea of a “pure” race is fiction. The New Encyclopædia Britannica observes: “There are no pure races; all racial groups currently existing are thoroughly mixed.” Whatever the case, the Bible teaches that God “made out of one man every nation of men.” (Acts 17:26) Regardless of skin color, hair texture, or facial features, there is really just one race—the human race. All humans are related through our forefather Adam.
” No racial group can therefore boast of any special standing with God. Indeed, it is only by faith in Jesus Christ that individuals can have a relationship with God. (John 17:3) And it is God’s will that “all sorts of men should be saved and come to an accurate knowledge of truth.”—1 Timothy 2:4.
Your recognizing that all races are equal in the eyes of God can have a dramatic effect on the way you view yourself and others. It can move you to treat others with dignity and respect, to appreciate and admire their differences.

Well it's pretty easy to see that I am a white female. The only experience that I have ever had was after moving up to New York. I had someone write on a fax to me... "Maybe you should put your shoes on!!!!". I am so dumb that I didn't get it. I later learned that it was a slam to Southerners because we are suppose to be running around like a bunch of Hllbillies without shoes. Apparently I was told that she hated Southerners - and seems like she didn't like me too much either!

I don't even understand racism since we live in a multi-cultural society! However, when my sister married a Jew, and converted to Judaism, I did get a hint of what racism is based on! Bigotry! I love my sister! She had a freedom and a right to choose her religion and her culture. She keeps kosher, which is fine with me! When I visit her, I abide by the Jewish food laws, without question! It's her home! When she visits me, she understands that we do things differently! That's where her roots are. It's not a problem unles...

Racist stinks, and it exist on jobs and just be walking around and their people that hate you because of your skin. I'm black and I put jobs applications everywhere. I dress polite, and have a great background, and educated. I think they don't want to hire me because I'm black,but thats ok I'm still going to push it and never give up.

After all being a racist is hating a group of people for pacticular reason so whats the difference? Nobody more full of hate than someone who makes a big deal about being 'anti-hate'

He then goes on saying that he hates gay people, and if it were up to him, he would put them all on an island and nuke it. I felt rather uncomfortable and was kinda quite despite my normal self. Finally a good friend of mine stood up for me, and asked him, "whats the difference between what you are saying and racism?" He was rather dumbfounded and incredulously asked how she just compared Racism to Homophobia. She had a good point, explaining that if we are not careful, homophobia might end up being the new racism.....its kinda scary to think about

The hostess said she would go and see if there was a spare seat in 1st class.When she returned she said to the black man "would you like to come with me, we have a first class seat for you" Ha !...

I think people hate racist because there so closed minded and haters of others that are not like them. They are also associated with voilence and voilent acts on certain ethnic backrounds just because of that and to kill and eliminate that race. And done so on the mass's. Its really is ugly and just so unbelieveable. It really does sadden me a great deal that people put alot of good energy into such a wasted cause of blinded ignorance.

There are 7 billion other people on this planet and we may as well make it the most pleasant experience for everyone that we can. This is why hatred is not only disgusting and incredibly counterproductive, but just plain stupid.
