Why is it that anytime you call a store and they say, "Can I help you?", that
they never have the answer and you have to wait 5 minutes to possibly get the
right answer.

Humour is one of those national things really and it rarely crosses the atlantic terribly well. To me Seinfeld is about as amusing as a dose of cholera but I appreciate he is well liked over there. Similarly Billy Connolly was huge over here but ditched in the States.

Love Seinfeld! Did you notice that commercials about fast food restaurants are on mostly at night, when every diet that exists says we shouldn't eat past eight p.m.? Is it a conspiracy to create a country full of fat people?
