what are my rights

im a single mother with two children a boy and a girl, the boy is 4 and the girl is 5 months old, im living in a two bedroom flat and every thing is electric and causting me a fortune, i need a house to accommadate the three of us and for it to be safe as the flat im living in is situated on a canal and it's all open, im afraid of something happening to my kid's, i need to know how i can get a house near his school and how to go about it the rite way as everyone is telling me something different and none of it makes any sence

Well in my opinion a house would still cost you a fortune so i would recommend a small apartment. If you don't like to live in an apartment then you can contact a realstate agent to help you as they will look for houses near schools or what you want in a house. I also recommend that you don't let your kids go out without you supervising them!
