Do you buy lottery tickets? I'm not wealthy by a long shot, but I never buy lottery tickets! Am I in the minority or the majority?

No I don't buy them but I am always saying "When I win the Lottery....!!!" ha. Fat chance if I don't buy a ticket. I see so many people in convenience stores scratching those tickets and picking the numbers. It's sad to me for some that don't look like they need to be using their money that way.

I used to buy them when I lived with another teacher that did. Up in the mountains, I tend to be distracted by the outdoors. It doesn´t take priority.

No, I don't buy them. To me, lottery is gambling, and I am against gambling. But, I think the majority does play. The "powerball" is always hundreds of millions in this country.

I am so glad to hear you never buy lottery tickets because i was reading a article that the chances of winning is the same as being struck by lightning.

Yes. I pay the "Voluntary Idiot Tax" from time to time. Most of the time it's when the news does a story on "Lottery Prize Tops $100 Million!" Then I have to buy tickets. Sometimes in the store I see the crawl on the Lottery machine... and IF it's over $20 million I'll buy some. I only play the MegaMillions here in Texas. It's a multi-state game with big payouts. I buy 10- $1 tickets and get the "Megaplier" for an extra $1. So it's $20 I donate to the State of Texas. The most I've won was a...
