Colonoscopy date: 8/14/08
Result: Abnormality of the lining of the colon
Cancer: NOT FOUND
Hospital Request: to see me again.
My state of mind: worried

While I'm not a doctor, I've known a few people that have had issues in this area. I would not get too worried at this second, if they said they found no signs of cancer. I would just make sure you do the follow up that is suggested by your physician. Abnormalities could be a physical deformity, a lesion of the non-cancerous variety, a polyp, a sign of colitis...all sorts of things. For right now, just try to relax a bit and wait for the doctor - no sense worrying about it when there is nothing you can do. Easier said t...
