Romove the spark plug and see if it generates a spark when you turn the engine over. If not, then you should replace the plug or adjust the gap of the new one. Check that there is fuel coming into the carb. Clean the fuel filter. Spray some Easy Start into the carb and crank it. It's hard to say what is wrong until you try a few of these things and narrow down the problem.
