I have never really had a building inspector interview me. If you are selling... they might ask certain questions about when the heating/cooling was installed, etc. If you are the one buying then ask any and everything you can think of. Make sure all doors open and close freely. I bought a house once and didn't check a door that wouldn't typically be closed much. Come to find out it wouldn't even close. The house had shifted. They typically check it all though....
