Do we really have a democratic society when one person has the power to veto anything they choose?

Well no not really. The average human will get to exercise their democratic right 12 to 13 times in their entire lives. It is a bit of an illusion. That's probably why it gets talked up so much.

Spose not. We vote and it's the Electoral College that has the final say, not us.
