Why isn't a fuel pump & air sensor mass covered under warranty?

My engine was replace in March 2008. Now 6 months later they say my fuel pump and air sensor mass is in need of replacement. Why isn't this covered under warranty?

If I were you Id have a look at the specific term and conditions that apply to your warranty. There may be some clause that states if the engine has already been replaced then the warranty does not apply to a fault with the new engine. Ring or email the main dealer/distributor headquarters and talk to customer service or aftersales. Also read up on your warranty so you are armed with information to fight your case. it should be, but depends on the age of the vehicle, you may have mileaged out, or terms of warranty may not cover that. Regardless, I would challenge them on that.
