I'm thinking AVG but I know Norton is widely used! Computer viruses are plentiful! The trick is, don't access any site which tells you up front that it may be dangerous to your computer! That goes for e-mails from unknown sources too! Access them and you're in trouble!

AVG free is what I use. We have it on all computers and have recommended to all of our customers. I have used it for years and have always been protected. As ML said.... first of all BE SMART! Don't open emails that are not familiar to you. NEVER open an attachment that says ZIP or .EXE.

I personall do not like Norton. They seem to give more problems than protection. Download AVG Free and give it a chance. You can schedule daily scans...

I have used it since it came out and tried other anti viruses programs. Computer administrator friends swear by it.
