Ireland. Hands down. I love Irish history, language, culture, and the countryside is so beautiful. I'd die happy if I could live in Ireland. The politics would drive me nuts though, as I don't always agree with the Oireachtas policies... But my great-grandmother grew up speaking Gaelic in the Connemara part of County Sligo, so I'd definitely have to go there. Yes I know, its corny, the American looking for her roots, but I'd have to, because we still have soem relatives over there that no one has talked to since the 70'...

I would say the British Isles or New Zealand... I love the lush countryside, history, and secret gardens.

The Greek Islands. Aahhhhh. The beautiful purple-blue sea - the white houses on the mountains and the black beaches of Santorini. Not to mention the food!!!! Wonderful Olive oil, wine and everything else.
I love it there!

I think it might be Tahiti. I am lying in this hammock looking out at the ocean. a fresh tropical fruit falls in my hand ready to eat. In my other hand I have a coconut with a straw in it. Nearby there is this dance -- grass skirts. Can't tell where the music is coming from.
Yawn. It is not time to wake up is it? I think I will take another 40 winks if you don't mind!

I would live in Switzerland because i want to have fondues every day.The swiss alps is the most beautiful scenic country i have seen in the world. I would import cheeses of all types and be the fondue king of the swiss alps. When it snows you are bogged in. My dream helecopter is going to bring in all the neighbours and friends FOR THE FAMOUS CHEESE FONDUE!!!. After having a few kirshs we can all go sking. Good thing it's only a dream for we would all end laying at the icey foot hills of the mountians....

I would have to say New Zealand. It has the best of both worlds; beaches and snow capped mountains.

Portugal, the food is great, the weather near the sea is good and the music, Fado, is very exciting. Unfortunately the language is a mess. They learned it from migratory birds 2,000 years ago.
