Legally separated...At our wedding, my ex-mother-in-law asked me (the bride), and her other daughter-in-law and son-in-law to step out of the pictures so the photographer (who we were paying for) could take some pictures of "her family". I always wonder, why do they bury mothers-in-law 18 feet down, when everyone else is buried 6 feet down? Because, deep down, they really are very nice people :-)

I'm not married.... but I can tell you that my brother and sister went to college with me. My sister was dating someone...as was my brother. She became his fiance. Both my brother and sister felt that their partner was not being truthful with them. My sister ended up catching her boyfriend at my brother's fiance's house.... talk about keeping it in the family.....

I was very close to my two sisters-in-law after my marriage ended. They were invited to my children's weddings, we got together for lunch a lot - then the bottom fell out! When their kids got married, I didn't get invited to the bridal showers or weddings! I was hurt! I said nothing! Then I decided to have a Thanksgiving buffet and I invited them all! Don't know if they showed up because I was in another province spending Thanksgiving with my son! Gee, I wonder why they don't keep in touch? lol...

I can't describe any of the things they told me because you would blush and you probably haven't heard about such things anyway. But each one had a favorite weapon and/or caliber of ammunition they wanted to use. That is the way we used to respect our women in our part of the world. I don't think it is the same nowadays.

sometimes i hate my inlaws because if my sis-inlaw and mother in law will be in one place ,they gossip on me and feel that they are doing right in all things . they point out and gossip's on me ,on my household food preparation or house maintenance.

once i prepared one vegetable curry which my MIL didn;t like it and told to her neighbours and they told me that , why she tells like that ,so bad about me and they are my side because they feel that the house matters should not reveal to outside people. they told me i should be careful with my MIL .so from then onwards ,i am too concentrating on my works .and i won;t give them a chance to gossip on me.

I ADORE MY MOTHER-IN-LAW. SHE IS REALLY GREAT FUN AND I DO ENJOY THOSE SWEET SHERRIES SHE KEEPS BUYING.

I want to state, up front, that I have the dream mother-in-law (and step-father-in-law). I consider them to be two of my dearest friends on top of her being the wonderful woman and man who helped my husband become the amazing man he is!

I want to state, up front, that I have the dream mother-in-law (and step-father-in-law). I consider them to be two of my dearest friends on top of her being the wonderful woman and man who helped my husband become the amazing man he is!

I love my father-in-law as well but he has a few "quirks" which drive me insane - like showing up at our house (or calling) every single day during the two weeks after we got married and were having a "home honeymoon." (We were traveling non-stop for hubby's job - being HOME for two weeks was heaven!)

I believe these great people are making up for the demonic nutcases I had for in-laws the first time I was married. My ex-mother-in-law once slapped me on her driveway in the middle of the afternoon, right in front of my son (her grandson). We're not talking some sort of trailer-trash family. They were well off suburbanites. Scary lady. And her son? "Well, what did you do to my mommy to deserve that?" WTF? Yeah, divorce soon followed.

Her in laws is awful that their son is being manipulated by advising by sister not to go in our family house so as to take care of the baby instead since its only 1 year older now.how can it be when indeed my family trust their son in their living together and counted us not to be far apart to my sister.Until when my mom talk to the mother and told them not to maltreated my sister by their family.Sounds crazy, but its true...Thanks God, its okey now......
