Smoke Detectors

My mains powered smoke detectors all have the green LED lit, but they all also flash red every 15 seconds, but all are working OK, as i have tested them. Is this normal, or is there a fault ?

yes every thing is okay, oppeosed to common sense red means good in somkedectoer language
