Asked by: shazee from -
How do you get this type of puppy trained so that she is not so snippy as she wants to bite your clothing, chew bedding, and also she wants to attack you even more when told no to the biting part... we also notice if not hooked up when let outside she even wants at some point to chase cars... PLEASE RESPOND AS WE DO LOVE THIS PUPPY AND WE DON'T WANT TO HAVE ANY FAMILY MEMBER OR FRIEND GET HURT BECAUSE OF HER BITING!! THANK YOU

Jack Russells were bred for hunting. You have purchased yourself a pup which has this instinct in her.It is important that she gets trained young so don't put it off any longer.I could go for ever with training or you could go to the library and lown a book.If there are dog training classes where you live then that would be the best.Or i would ring the local vet and see if they can refer to someone who is an experienced trainer that can help you.

I agree with "robinsandy". Alot of people arent willing to spend the money until it is too late. Do yourself a favor, get a trainer or behaviorist. The sooner the better. It will be worth it. Certain breeds can get totally out of hand if they do not have any direction. This is how so many wind up at the shelters.
