after a dog has dilated how long is it before going into labor, I took he yesterday to the vet they said she was dilated but thats all they could tell me

She should go into labor almost straight away.If she doesn't then don't panic. The only time you need to worry is if she is in labor for more than 5 hrs. and doesn't give birth.By the time you read this she has probably had the litter. Congrads.!
