Here are a few suggestion. Turn the printer off for a minute and back on again. Make sure it is selected as the DEFAULT printer (Control Panel/Printers and Faxes). In the control panel open the DEVICE MANAGER (You have not stated what operating system you are running, Im assuming Windows) and under printer make sure there are no exclaimation marks. You will have only have to reinstall the printer driver.
