What can I do when I'm being harassed?
Asked by: christalourens from -
I'm receiving many please call me's (some with messages 'before I die') from a specific person I refused to help with money. My phone's inbox is full and I cannot delete them fast enough before receiving more. The person has come to my house after I've told him not to ever come here and to stop sending me Please Call Me's, he continues. I'm fearing for the safety of me and my 3year old child now. I don't know what to expect from him next. The police didn't help.

Get a restraining order against this person. If you can, send them a certified letter advising them that their actions are unwanted and you would like them to cease any and all attempts to contact you. Document all contact with this person and present it as evidence to the judge who hears your request for the restraining order. When you get the restraining order, the police will have to take action should the order be violated.
