McCain is not out of touch with the American people. He does own seven or maybe even more houses; however, the fact is that six out of seven of those houses are real estate properties purchased by his wife, who is chair of Hensley & Co.---a large wholesaler of Anheuser Busch. I think that people should assess Mc Cain and Obama on their merits as potential president, not on age, colour religion etc. It was shameful to see people ponder if a black man would be better than a white woman went Clinton went up against Obama. I think age matters, because if your so old that you become incompetent(mentally), then you can't do your job. McCain is 72 or so, my grandfather is around that old and he needs help with everyday things. I know with age comes wisdom and experience, but there should be a cut off where the young and able take over. Personally, not taking age iinto consideration, I like Obama better. Even if McCain was younger I still wouldn't vote for him.
