landlord refuses to pay water
|
paying the water was in the original lease I signed five years ago. I came home from work to find the water was shut off. No warning, the landlord just quit paying it and now two families with young kids are left in a tight spot.

I thought the landlord payed the water rates and the tenant paid the water usage.
Perhaps review the lease to clarify that.If you don't waste water and have to pay the usage then it won't cost that much.
