Verbal Agreement was made on custody of my son what is the next step?

Mt ex-husband and I are divorced but I am wanting to move out of state to be with my fiance. Once the verbal agreement and permission from the ex is givin what do we do next??

based on my own experience, you might want to have a written agreement signed by both sides in the presence of a notary public
