Add the iPod Touch Fans repo( http://touchrepo.com/repo.xml) and install the version of Customize from that repo. It is a modified version for 1.1.3 that has all of the fixes already. Add the source and it should show up in installer with the other customize. Just click on it and check the description, it should say somthing about "modded and recompiled" and the contact will be "Skylar"

Well i spent most of my summer trying to jailbreak and hack the ipod and i have successfully done it on both 1.1.4 and 2.0.1 firmware. Took a little time and a bunch of youtube videos but its well worth it. One question... have you ever thought of updating to a 2.0 firmware the apps are great and i barely use any jailbroken apps. any ways heres the 1.1.4 firmware file http://www.megaupload.com/?d=7... i have no idea if it still works or not...

let it restore and you now have 1.1.4 firmware
now to jailbreak it use ziphone and follow the on screen instruction its relatively easy just click jailbreak only
once that finishes go to installer and download summerboard and customizer
