Yahoo Messenger Chat Archive
Asked by: dixon from -
I have been using Yahoo Messenger to chat with my friends for more than a year now. Recently I came to know that even after deleting the archives, chat details can be retrieved from the computer's hard disc. I am very much concerned about that because my partner might be able to access them which will sure cause problem in our life. So, could you please advise how to delete chat contents from the computer's hard disc/memory.

Thanks,
Dixon.

They should not be saved anywhere else. You can make sure they are gone by looking in the archive folder. Follow this path My Computer...C:drive....Program Files....Yahoo.......Messenger...Profile... choose the name of the profile....Archives. I am not sure if they get sent to the recycle bin or not after you delete them so you can check there too.

Well bloke you should not be doing this for a start if you love your partner, and without you knowing it I would think she loves you. Stop what you are doing and get to know your partner and not to be a lover boy. I will say to you to clean up all of your hard drives on your discs, by go through the control panel. Look for computer and or disc clean up, anything that has been deleated can be taken of your hard drive, and will not harm anything else on you computer.
