Will I get bored of a pet rabbit?

My brother, sister and I really want to get a pet rabbit. I have done a lot of research on rabbits and feel ready to take on this responabilaty. My mom won't let us because she think that in a few years we will get bored of it. Is this true?

Very, very likely. The problem with rabbits is that you can't really do anything with them, they just stay in their hutches. It's not possible to have them in anything except a cage with a metal floor since they will dig their way out of any pen or cage made of wood, and you can't really hold them unless you're going to spend the money to get them de-clawed. Well a friend of mine has a rabbit that lives in the house and is totally toilet trained. How they did that i don't know, but you guys could probably figure it out. If you get a rabbit and then get sick of him then you could give it to the pet shop and it will end up with another loving home.

I love rabbits i had one a few years ago i din't get bored of it due to his curiosity like in the morning he would jump on my bed and lick my face like a dog!! or when i was eating an apple he would jump on where i was sitting and take it from me the only problem is he was a male and their urine is sometimes stinky so my room always smelled like his urine! so i had to give him away.what robinsandy said is true you don't really have to train it you just have to put a small plastic container like a cat's litter box! fille...
