Travel by car from Vancouver to Jasper/banff and back
|
Hi,
we are going to be in Vancouver on the 19th september. we have just 10 days as we fly out on 29th september.
I am thinking of driving to the Jasper/Banff area and back.
Is it possible to drive up via Whistler? and if so is it worthwhile going that way. How busy is this area in mid september?, as we have no idea where we will be on any given day, it is very difficult to book ahead. What are the highlights?

Although they don't allow any swimmers in the lake, there is a wonderful little trail that goes around the lake. I don't think it will be very crowded there in september. that is right in the middle of...
