what is wrong with my windshield wipers?

i have a 1998 pontiac firebird v6 3.8L and when i turn on my wipers they work fine they when i turn them off it stop in the middle of the windshield.

In my opinion, it's possible the motor control since it controls all functions of the windshield wipers. Probably on one set of wires pug into the motor from the wiper switch inside the car.
I experienced windshield wipers issues a couple of month ago. It was my motor contro. I have a windstar. Take it to your local mechanic to check it out....

Sometimes you have to live with it, just wait til the wiper blade is where you want it to stop, then turn it off there. Or if you feel like splurging on a new kit, buy one from checker or the OEM.
