Cloning is an advancement to help save more people's lives. Although specific organs or rare blood types have yet to be cloned and actually made available to the general medical community. Think about it: if someone desperately needed a liver transplant because they drank too much alcohol, with the aid of cloning technology, doctors would be able to clone that person's liver cells and produce a healthy, genetically matched liver, thus saving that patient's life. Cloning could revolutionize the medical industry!

Genetic cloning in stem cell research could result in the cures for inherited metabolic disorders, parkinson's disease, multiple schlerosis, to name a few! I think if the science is there which can accomplish this, then the ethics of using stem cells should not even be an issue!
