fire hoses on public roads

should cars be parked a certian distance fom the kerb to allow fire hoses access in public streets ?

In general I don't think you're allowed to park near a fire hose a certain distance. So it would make no sense to then make it so you can't park close to the curb since you're far away from the fire hydrant as it is.
