Growing physical independence
Now that he's only one month from first birthday, your baby is no longer that helpless infant who couldn't do anything without you. He may be just a picky eater! He's getting plenty of essential nutrients in your breast milk and in cereal and yogurt. You could give him apple sauce and other pureed fruits since he is not fond of juice. He's at a good age for finger foods - babies love to feed themselves! Put some pieces of apple, banana, cooked peas and carrots etc. on his highchair tray.

Slowly you will have to stop breast feeding. Try to create interest in him to eat whatever is available or he will become adamant later.
