a teen is convicted of several drug offenses while in jail she is perscribed geodone and triazadone, they seem to help alot, upon release she is required to enter drug rehab, probation transports her but fails to get 10 day supply of meds(unaware of meds ) for continued use until mental health can take case, (meds that jail had ready for pick up upon release) teen is unable to focus and stay on track in rehab and eventually runs, (aprox 7 to 10daysafter arriving going all those days off the medscold turky) whil\e teen is on the run she has warrants issued and is picked up by local law(she was recognized walking down public street)new charges in clud poss of hyp, false info to officer, resisting arrest. the rehab she ran from wants her back very much and she is willing to go, what grounds do we have for pleaing with the judge as to allowing her another chance verses the alternitive offered her of a two year prison sentence which is actually 7months in a state prison(chowcilla)she has court july 30, what can we do?her public deffender doesnt really have any patience for her and her problems, I am not so sure he will fight for the mental health issue unless I know what to request of him , otherwise he will not bring up the fact that probation may be at fault for her unstable choices, help please concerned mom of 20 year old on track to prison
