How can we be good grandparents?

Our son and his wife is having their first child--our first grandchild. We don't want to interfere but we want to be involved. They want us to be involved also. We have a good relationship with our son and his wife. Do you have any good advice for us.

I am the grandmother of three - now 10, 9 and 6! What a wonderful role to play! Love it! My rule of thumb is to bond with my grandkids, love them, enjoy them, and follow the disciplinary rules that their parents set down (even if I don't agree!) I have bragging rights, and I brag a lot!
